The Sport and Music Marketing students had the amazing opportunity to work with Ms. Lori Claps from MTV. The students were challenged to refocus and reinvigorate what music means on the MTV network. Students also had to identify what MTV’s role is in the music landscape. The students did rigorous research and identified strategies to prioritize, activate, and re-launch MTV’s music platform. The student groups combined market research, surveys and social media discussions in order to create an MTV marketing plan. Ms. Lori Claps was present for the presentations and helped with evaluations.
