The OPRF School of Business has been partnering with Coca-Cola for the last four years. The Coca-Cola sponsored project is designed to give students the opportunity to research and create motivational strategies for sales teams. The Small Business Management and Sport and Music Marketing classes work with Coca-Cola on different projects during each semester.
OPRF business students were given the objective to motivate a sales team in a market where volume is struggling due to factors not controlled by the direct sales team. Students were split into groups and assigned roles. Student created a measurable goal and action plan through the decision making process. Coca-Cola representatives were present to evaluate the student presentations. A few of the students' ideas and concepts have been considered for regional and national campaigns. Other projects include marketing projects for Fuze and Gold Peak Teas products and spokesperson strategy implementation.
