The OPRF School of Business is pleased to announce the Coca-Cola has partnered with students for a second project this year. The Sales Pitch Project allowed students to sell to a Code 10 or Competitive School and pitch product according to needs of their client.
In our most recent project, the students were given the objective to research and present a sales pitch to sell product in cafeterias, sporting events, for booster services, and fundraisers. Danny O’Shea (Director, Food Service & On-Premise, Chicago MU) and Luke Emery (VP, Chicagoland Market Unit) accepted our invitation to come and act as the principals during the students sales calls.
The students learned how to pitch to clients. Mr. Emery and Mr. O'Shea posted as "Hemingway High School" principals. The students made initial pitches to the clients using probing questions. The students were focused on selling quality and service rather than price. The project was set up and written by Ms. Jessica Zadlo (Area Sales Manager) and Chris Sutton (District Sales Manager) along with Mr. Peter Hostrawser (OPRF School of Business Chairman).
